Lime greens, hot pinks and a host of other vibrant combinations went into making this family celebration a very colourful affair.

Apollo Event Consultants approached us to dress and furnish a marquee set in a rural market town, but with a bit of a difference; the inspiration to come from the recent colourful paintings by David Hockney. So, with a palette of bright pinks, blues, purples and greens, we had some fun.

As well as our striking draping and dressing we upholstered and painted our furniture to match, including a unique, boldly striped circular bar and broke up the main space with large pink ornate floral-cut panels.

An assortment of potted plants and flowers complimented the rural feel of the event and surroundings and were later planted into the garden outside.
