London Fashion Week is one of the biggest events in the fashion calendar. We were lucky enough to be asked by Family Events to provide some of the set required for shows including Paul Smith, Pringle, Erdem and Topshop.

Each show requires its own look and feel to be created, specific to the collection of the designer. The catwalk design needs to reflect the look of the show without dominating it.

Work starts with the designers at Family, weeks before the excitement, glamour and glitz of the live shows. Hours of preparation and construction are underway in the workshop prior to the shows to ensure onsite installation goes as smoothly as possible.

These images are from the Paul Smith show held at the Royal College of Art. The design featured a loose network of walls and screens in an industrial orange tinted MDF, selected to complement the building interior.

Designer Johan Berglund created this stunning design, which fitted the venue and Paul Smith brand perfectly.
