Cardinal Place
After the tour the guests were directed to the ground floor level where the real party commenced, a wild funfair had been built with stalls, a helter-skelter and even dodgems which were all housed within the grand scale of the building. Themed bars, food stations, seating and a performance stage were all intricately and decoratively painted with traditional funfair designs and highlighted with festoon bulbs. A 1950's themed VIP cocktail area, an interactive floor projection, fairground games and show stopping performances made sure that the launch of Cardinal Place would be simply extraordinary.
Some sets really come to life when the lights are turned on, but in this case it was integral to each piece and the room as a whole. Festoon was used to a subtle yet magical effect seen overhanging the space, and game stands shone enticingly from the sides (top). Festoon was also used along the runway, a carpet laid track which took guests around the building and through glowing arches (above). And our stage set (far left) gave the Sugar Babes (no less) a fun backdrop to perform in front of.
Victoria, London
A Funfair theme was chosen for the high profile launch of this iconic building in Victoria. The scale of the building presented challenges but also opportunities to create an unforgettable experience for the guests who would take the tour of the building.
